What’s the difference between custom and white label formulations?
White label formulations are pre-made and tested; you simply add your branding. Custom formulations, on the other hand, are created from scratch for your brand, based on your specific goals, ingredients, and product positioning. At Clean Beauty, we offer both, but our custom work is where we really shine.
Can I create multiple products as part of a custom skincare or cosmetic line?
Absolutely. Whether you’re building a 3-step face care system or launching an entire wellness range, we’ll help you co-develop each product thoughtfully. From the cleanser to the final balm, we keep the textures cohesive, the actives aligned, and the story consistent.
How much flexibility do I have when it comes to ingredients and formats?
A lot. You can select the key actives you want, the skin concerns you’re addressing, and even fragrance notes and product feel. We’ll then help you shape that into a clean, stable formulation that fits your brand vibe and your customers’ skin needs.
What is the process of creating private label custom formulations?
First, we understand your vision, skin concerns, product type, price point, and feel. Then our R&D team gets to work. You’ll receive lab samples, test them, share feedback, and we’ll tweak until it’s right. Once approved, we move into production and help with packaging and compliance.
Do you also provide regulatory documentation for custom formulations?
Yes, all custom formulations come with standard documentation, including ingredient disclosures, safety and stability test reports, and compliance with Indian regulations. If you’re applying for additional certifications or exporting, our global alignment makes it easier…but we don’t directly issue extra certificates beyond GMP and Sedex.
Can I transition from custom small-batch to bulk manufacturing later?
Of course. That’s one of the biggest advantages of working with us. We build formulations with long-term scale in mind, so when you’re ready to grow, the process stays smooth. We just increase your batch size, update packaging if needed, and support your next phase without any formulation loss.
